Many a fantastic game has been kicked off from this spot on our award winning pitch. But we haven't won awards by chance. Grass seed is grown through a layer of sand interwoven with cotton fibres providing a much stronger foundation for the roots. This helps prevent bare patches appearing after play. The pitch also contains miles of pipes for the undersoil heating and irrigation systems, which will hopefully help us win pitch of the season again.
